Obverse description Bare laureate head of Lucius Verus facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Pontic civic coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic features with a short beard and close-cropped hair bound by a laurel wreath. A Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor. The surface bears a dark olive-green patina consistent with prolonged burial, with the portrait partially worn but retaining legible relief.
