Obverse description Bare-headed, cuirassed bust of Diadumenian facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view, with the paludamentum (military cloak) visible over the left shoulder. The youthful effigy displays close-cropped hair rendered in low relief, characteristic of provincial mint engraving style. The surrounding field retains traces of the Greek legend ΔΙΑΔΟΥΜΕΝΙΑΝΟϹ disposed around the bust. The flan is irregular, with some surface patination consistent with a hammered provincial bronze issue.

Reverse description Nude Hermes striding vigorously to the right, his petasus (traveller's hat) upon his head and his chlamys (short cloak) billowing behind him, winged pedilia (sandals) at his feet. In his right hand he carries the caduceus, while with his left he grasps by the horn a ram which he drags behind him; his head is turned back to regard the animal. The ethnic legend ΑΦΡΟΔΕΙϹΙΕΩΝ is disposed around the field, identifying the issuing city of Aphrodisias in Caria.
