| Reverse description | Tyche of Priene standing left, wearing a mural crown and draped in a long chiton and himation. She holds a ship's rudder downward in her extended right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, emblematic of the city's prosperity and maritime character. The civic legend ΠΡΙΗΝΕΩΝ is inscribed in the right field. The reverse composition follows the standard iconographic programme for Tyche on Ionian provincial bronzes of the Hadrianic period. |
