Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of Victory, advancing briskly to the right in a long flowing garment, her wings spread behind her. She extends a laurel wreath forward in her right hand and carries a tall palm branch over her left shoulder, emblems of victory and triumph. A Greek inscription surrounds the figure in the field and along the periphery, naming the issuing magistrate and the city. The style is characteristic of Ionian provincial bronze coinage of the Severan-Gordian period.
