Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Julia Soaemias facing right, with hair elaborately arranged and falling in locks to the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Severan period, with a beaded border encircling the field. A suspension hole is present at the top of the flan, indicating later use as a pendant. The Greek legend ΙΟΥΛΙΑ ϹΟΑΙΜΙΑϹ ΑΥΓ runs around the periphery, identifying the subject as Julia Soaemias Augusta.
