| Reverse description | Two turreted Tychai — personifications of the cities of Heraclea Salbace and Laodicea — standing facing one another in the field, each wearing a mural crown (turreted kalathos) and a long draped garment. The two figures clasp right hands in a dexiosis gesture symbolising civic concord (Homonoia), each holding a long sceptre in the outer hand. The Greek legend ΗΡΑΚΛΕΩΤΩΝ ΛΑΟΔΙΚΕΩΝ ΟΜΟΝΟΙΑ (Concord of the Heracleotes and Laodiceans) is distributed around the reverse field. |
