Reverse description The goddess Roma seated left upon a throne, helmeted and in military attire, extending a Nike (Victory figurine) in her right hand and holding an upright spear in her left. A large oval shield rests against the side of the throne at her left. The Greek inscription encircles the type, referencing the city of Smyrna's triple neocorate status, a mark of exceptional imperial cult prestige. A beaded border frames the entire design.
