| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered from a three-quarter rear perspective, with the folds of the paludamentum and cuirass visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical provincial workshop style of the Severan period. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor in the nominative form across the field. The flan shows characteristic irregular casting with a patina of olive-brown and green encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. |
