| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in the characteristic provincial style of the Lydian conventus. The emperor's effigy displays pronounced facial features with a short beard, consistent with his later portraiture. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. |
