| Obverse description | Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the idealised Hellenistic portrait style characteristic of early Augustan provincial coinage. The emperor's features are cleanly delineated with a smooth neck truncation. The Latin legend IMP CAESAR DIVI F C G I P encircles the effigy, partially visible around the periphery of the flan. A beaded border frames the design along the coin's edge. |
