Reverse description A female deity, tentatively identified as Hera, standing left, extending a patera over a thymiaterion (incense burner) in her right hand and holding a long sceptre in her left. To the right, a peacock stands facing right, its form partially legible through the coin's heavily corroded surface — the peacock being the sacred attribute of Hera, strongly supporting the identification of the standing figure. The ethnic legend ΚΩΙΩΝ is inscribed in the field.
