Obverse lettering IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG
(Translation: Emperor Caesar Vespasian, Augustus)
Reverse description Large senatorial monogram SC (Senatus Consulto) prominently displayed in the centre of the field, rendered in bold, deeply struck letters. The entire design is enclosed within a laurel wreath composed of stylised leaves and berries, tied at the base, framing the central letters on all sides. The field between the letters and the wreath is open and unadorned, giving the design a bold, graphic quality typical of Antiochene civic bronze coinage of the Flavian period.
