Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Ionian civic coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic portrait features of the Flavian emperor with a short, closely cropped wreath of laurel. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΩΡ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΟΥΕϹΠΑϹΙΑΝΟϹ (ϹΕΒΑϹΤΟϹ), proclaiming his imperial titles. The coin bears a small perforation hole near the top of the flan, indicating it was mounted or worn as a pendant in antiquity. The surfaces show a dark olive-brown patina with areas of encrustation consistent with extended burial.
