| Reverse description | Athena seated left upon a high-backed throne, extending her right hand to present a Nike figurine and holding a long spear in her left hand; a round shield leans against the spear at lower left. The composition follows the standard Athena enthroned type widely employed in the civic bronze coinage of Lydian cities during the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus. The reverse legend distributed around the field records the name of the local magistrate Kleoboulos and his dedication to the citizens of Temenothyrae. |
