Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Salonina facing right, diademed, resting upon a crescent. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of the Ephesian mint under the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field. The bust displays characteristic drapery folds across the shoulder and chest, with the crescent prominently positioned beneath as a divine or honorific attribute.
