(Translation: to Salonina Chrysogone Augusta)
Reverse description Artemis, goddess of the hunt, depicted seated left on a rocky outcrop, wearing a long chiton, diplois, and peplos, with a quiver at her shoulder. She holds a bow in her raised left hand and pours a libation from a patera held in her extended right hand, a rare and iconographically distinctive pose for the deity. In the exergue, a star flanked by two pellets serves as a mint or die-control mark. The surrounding legend ΕΦΕϹΙΩΝ Α ΑϹΙΑϹ proudly proclaims Ephesus as first city of Asia, reflecting the city's privileged neokorate status.
