| Obverse description | Draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla, empress consort of Trajan Decius, facing right, her hair elaborately waved and drawn up to a stephane or diadem. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Carian civic coinage. The encircling Greek legend reads ΕΡΕΝΙΑ ΑΙΤΡΥϹΚΙΛΛΑ ϹΕΒ, identifying the empress with her Augustan title. |

| Reverse description | Aphrodite, the patron deity of the city, depicted standing facing, head turned slightly, wearing a polos crown, her drapery falling loosely about the lower body; she extends her right hand forward, likely holding an apple, the attribute of the goddess. To her right, a small nude figure of Eros stands facing left, serving as the divine companion of Aphrodite. The abbreviated civic ethnic legend ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ is distributed in the field around the central type, attesting to the issuing authority of Antiocheia ad Maeandrum. |
