| Reverse description | Full-length cult statue of Ares standing facing on a rectangular pedestal or base, holding a sword in the raised right hand and a spear and shield in the left hand. Two lighted altars flank the base on either side, a characteristic iconographic element of the Rabbath-Moba civic coinage. The composition reflects local veneration of the war deity within the provincial Arabian religious context. The Greek civic legend is disposed around the reverse field identifying the issuing city. |
