Reverse description The reverse presents the Greek inscription ϹΕΟΥΗΡΕΙΑ ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΕΙΑ ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ arranged in five lines across the field, commemorating the Severan Philadelphian games held at Nicaea. The entire inscription is enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base, a type standard for agonistic bronze coinage of Bithynian civic mints during the Severan period. The wreath is rendered with naturalistic leaf and berry detail visible around the border.
