Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta facing right, rendered three-quarter view from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays youthful features consistent with Geta's portraiture during his co-emperorship. The Latin legend encircles the bust, identifying the emperor by his imperial titles. The die work reflects the provincial workshop style of Sinope, with bold, if somewhat coarse, engraving typical of Pontic civic bronzes of the Severan period.

Reverse description Youthful Dionysus stands facing, his head turned to the left, draped in a flowing garment. His right hand is extended over a panther leaping up at him from the right, while his left hand rests upon a thyrsus. The composition reflects the god's characteristic iconography as patron deity of Sinope, rendered in a dynamic Hellenistic-influenced style. The colonial legend and era date fill the field, identifying the issuing city and the local Sinopean year of striking.
