Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in the vigorous provincial style characteristic of Pontic civic coinage. The portrait displays youthful features consistent with Caracalla's early co-reign depictions, with a laurel wreath crowning the head and paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The circumferential Greek legend runs around the bust in the field.
