Reverse description The personification of Dacia stands facing left at centre, clad in traditional Dacian costume and wearing a Phrygian-style cap, holding a curved falx or sword in one hand and two military vexilla (standard poles) inscribed with the numerals V and XIII in the other, referencing the Legio V Macedonica and Legio XIII Gemina garrisoned in the province. To the left, an eagle stands facing left with its head turned right, holding a wreath in its beak; to the right, a lion stands facing left.
