| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II as Caesar facing right, seen from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy displays the youthful features of the imperial prince with short hair rendered in low relief. The circumferential Latin legend surrounds the bust within the field, with visible beaded border at the coin's edge. The portrait follows the standard provincial workshop style of the Sinope mint under Philip I. |
