| Obverse description | Laureate head of Lucius Verus facing right, with faint traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The portrait displays the characteristic full beard and curling hair of Lucius Verus rendered in the Antonine style typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The Greek legend partially encircles the effigy in the field. The flan is irregular and somewhat worn, with the relief of the portrait moderately preserved. |
