Reverse description Apollo-Tyrimnaios, the principal deity of the Lydian city of Tabala, depicted on horseback advancing to the right, wearing a radiate crown, nude but for a billowing chlamys draped over the shoulders. He bears a double-headed axe (labrys) raised over his right shoulder, a hallmark iconographic attribute of this regional cult type. The reverse legend in Greek occupies the field around the mounted figure, referencing the local magistrate and the civic ethnic of the Tabaleans.
