| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy displays the characteristic beard and idealized portraiture associated with Hadrianic provincial coinage. The legend encircles the bust in Greek characters. The relief is bold and the style consistent with Phyrgian provincial workshop production of the early-to-mid second century AD. |

| Reverse description | Three deities depicted in a civic religious scene: Hera stands to the right wearing a polos crown and long chiton, her right hand resting upon a tall sceptre; Zeus Laodikeus stands centrally, holding an eagle in his raised right hand and a sceptre in his left; Athena stands facing, helmeted, her head turned to the left, her right hand lowered and her left hand holding a spear and shield. The composition reflects the veneration of the principal divine triad of the region, and the dedicatory legend names the benefactor responsible for the dedication on behalf of the civic community of Hydrela. |
