Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, depicted with corn-ear wreath in the Alexandrian tradition. The imperial effigy is rendered in the customary style of Roman provincial coinage from Egypt, with the portrait occupying the central field. The surrounding legend, partially visible on the flan, identifies the emperor with his full titulature in Greek characters. The flan is irregular, as typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of this period, with some surface roughness and areas of wear.
