Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the Roman provincial style typical of Alexandrian coinage. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the laurel wreath clearly articulated around the head. The surrounding Greek legend reads in abbreviated form along the coin's periphery, identifying the emperor by his titles. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show significant wear and encrustation consistent with a heavily circulated provincial bronze.
