| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, with aegis at the neck, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The portrait displays the emperor's effigy with characteristic laurel wreath, conveying his imperial and divine authority. A Greek legend surrounds the bust, partially visible along the upper periphery of the flan. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with some flatness and surface encrustation typical of circulated Egyptian provincial bronze coinage. |

| Reverse description | The Pharos of Alexandria depicted as a multi-tiered lighthouse tower, surmounted by a standing statue, flanked on either side by a triton — the mythological sea deity rendered as a half-human, half-fish figure — emphasizing Alexandria's maritime identity and the fame of its great lighthouse as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The date regnal legend appears in the field. The type is a signature reverse of Alexandrian coinage under Domitian, struck in the provincial Egyptian series. |
