Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, the emperor portrayed with characteristic youthful features typical of his early reign coinage. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style of Syrian municipal bronzes, with the laurel wreath clearly defined around the head. A Greek imperial titulature legend surrounds the bust in the field.
