| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with traces of drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial Egyptian style. The effigy displays characteristic features of the emperor including a short beard and mature facial profile. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust in the field, reading from left to right around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular in shape and the surfaces show wear consistent with circulation, with the legend partially legible. |

| Reverse description | Depiction of the Pharos of Alexandria, the celebrated lighthouse of antiquity, rendered as a multi-tiered tower rising from a base structure. The lighthouse is shown in a schematic frontal view with architectural details suggesting the lower rectangular stage and upper cylindrical section, surmounted by a dome or finial. A small figure, possibly Triton or a deity, appears at the base of the structure. The regnal date appears in the field, with the flan surfaces heavily worn and the legend only partially preserved. |
