| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, with characteristic beard and mature facial features typical of his portraiture. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Phrygian style with moderate relief. The circumferential Greek legend runs around the bust. The flan is somewhat irregular, as is characteristic of provincial bronze issues of this period. |
