Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with a broad, fleshy face characteristic of his portraiture. The effigy is draped, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated around the head. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking. The overall style reflects the distinctive workshop tradition of the Alexandrian mint.
