Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays characteristic third-century provincial portraiture with bold relief. A Greek legend surrounds the bust along the outer border, reading ΠΟΥΒ ΛΙΚ ΓΑΛΛΗΝΟϹ Α, identifying the emperor as Publius Licinius Gallienus Augustus. The coin shows a deep green patina consistent with long burial, with some surface porosity and a small central test hole.
