| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind in the so-called 'rear view' convention typical of certain Ephesian civic bronzes, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in high relief, the laureate wreath discernible atop the head. The encircling Greek legend occupies the periphery of the flan, partially legible on this heavily worn specimen. |
