Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view, a characteristic provincial rendering of the imperial effigy. The paludamentum is visible over the left shoulder, and the cuirass is indicated by incised lines across the chest. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The style is typical of the Ephesian mint's civic bronze coinage of the joint reign period.
