Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Empress Salonina facing right, set upon a crescent. The effigy displays carefully rendered drapery at the shoulder, with the diadem visible across the brow. A Greek legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, identifying the empress with her honorific epithet Chrysogone Augusta.
