Obverse description Laureate head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portraiture typical of early Imperial provincial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a confident, sharp-featured profile with the laurel wreath of imperial authority clearly visible. The surrounding circular legend reads TI·CAESAR·AVGVSTVS·PONT·MAX·IMP·, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects the competent engraving tradition of the Hispanic provincial mints under Julio-Claudian administration. The flan is somewhat irregular at the edges, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze issues of this period.
