| Reverse description | Two tetrastyle temples with four columns each, depicted facing one another in a three-quarter perspective view, their pediments meeting at the centre of the composition — a distinctive type proclaiming Cyzicus's status as a double neokorate. The legend distributed around and between the temples reads ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ Β ΝΕΟΚΟΡΩΝ, affirming the city's honour of having held the imperial cult twice. The architectural detail of the column shafts and triangular pediments is well rendered despite the heavily worn flan. |
