| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, with draped shoulders, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The youthful portrait displays finely modelled facial features with short curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the characteristically irregular flan and bold, hand-cut relief of hammered provincial bronzes from the Severan period. |
