| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, rendered three-quarter from the rear in the characteristic Severan provincial style. The youthful effigy displays short cropped hair with fine engraved striations, the paludamentum and cuirass visible at the shoulder. The obverse legend, partially visible along the upper periphery, identifies the subject as Publius Septimius Geta Caesar. The flan is irregularly struck, with typical provincial bronze surface patination obscuring portions of the design. |
