Reverse description Two hexastyle or octastyle temples depicted side by side in three-quarter perspective, each featuring a prominent pediment and a colonnade of eight columns resting on a stepped stylobate, representing the two imperial cult temples of Nicomedia that earned the city its double neocorate status. Stars and additional decorative elements appear in the field between and above the temples. The reverse legend encircles the entire composition, referencing Nicomedia's prestigious twice-neocorate honor.
