| Obverse description | Youthful draped bust of the Demos facing right, with flowing curly hair, set within a dotted border. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage of the Antonine period. The legend ΔΗΜΟϹ appears in Greek characters to the left of the bust in the field. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of hammered provincial bronze issues. |
