| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered three-quarter from the rear, displaying the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and the articulated armour of the cuirass. The effigy is set within a circular Greek legend occupying the full periphery of the flan. The portraiture is characteristic of the Alexandrian mint's robust provincial style, with the laureate wreath rendered in high relief despite the worn flan surface. |
