| Reverse description | The god Sarapis stands facing left in full figure, robed in long garments, his right arm raised with hand extended in a gesture of benediction, and holding a long sceptre upright in his left hand. The deity wears the distinctive modius (kalathos) crown atop his head, characteristic of his syncretic Graeco-Egyptian iconography. The civic legend of the Odessos mint encircles the field, with the denomination mark Ε positioned in the lower portion of the design. |
