Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, portrayed from behind in the so-called 'rear view' convention characteristic of certain provincial issues of the period. The radiate crown with its distinctive pointed rays is visible above the head, while the cuirass and paludamentum (military cloak) are rendered across the shoulder and back. The encircling Greek legend naming the emperor runs along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the irregular, somewhat crude style typical of Pisidian provincial bronzes struck during Gallienus's sole reign.
