| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the conventional provincial portrait style. The imperial effigy is set within a circular field bordered by a continuous Greek legend. The portrait displays typical Flavian dynastic features with the characteristic laurel wreath denoting imperial status. The legend encircles the bust in Greek characters identifying the emperor by his full titulature. |

| Reverse description | Full-length figure of Zeus Syrgastes, a local Bithynian cult deity, standing to the left in a frontal pose. The god is depicted holding a patera in his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre in his left, attributes consistent with his chthonic and civic cult significance at Tium. The deity is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition of divine statuary common to provincial Bithynian coinage. A circular Greek legend surrounds the field, identifying the deity and the issuing city. The reverse type reflects the strong local religious identity of Tium and its veneration of this regional manifestation of Zeus. |
