Obverse description Bare-headed and corn-wreathed bust of Emperor Domitian facing left, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with draped shoulders. The effigy presents a naturalistic portrait with characteristic Flavian physiognomy. A Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The corn wreath is a distinctively Alexandrian iconographic element, associating the emperor with the city's grain-producing identity.
