| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, wearing paludamentum over cuirass, with a radiate laurel wreath encircling the head. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Arabian civic coinage, with the legend disposed in the surrounding field. The obverse inscription, though partially garbled (sic), invokes the full imperial titulature of Commodus as Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Commodus. |
