| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, the emperor portrayed with youthful features characteristic of his early reign. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field. The coin shows typical provincial die workmanship, with the laureate wreath rendered in detail around the imperial effigy. Surface patination is consistent with a Bithynian provincial bronze issue. |
